Underwriting Operations Senior Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing international insurer in a newly created leadership role within Underwriting Operations. Working closely with Underwriting, Technology and Operations teams across the UK and US, you will lead the operational delivery of new MGA partnerships from due diligence through onboarding and renewal, while driving continuous improvement across underwriting processes and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational due diligence and onboarding for new MGA programmes.
• Manage programme implementation through to go-live.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Underwriting, Finance, Claims, Legal and Technology.
• Oversee binder renewals and operational governance.
• Enhance underwriting systems, reporting and operational processes.
• Build strong relationships with MGAs and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong London Market insurance operations experience.
• Delegated Authority or MGA expertise.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience improving operational processes and implementing change.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
