Unqualified Nursery Practitioner – Daily Supply Work

About the role

Veritas Education is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join a network of nurseries in Camden and surrounding North London boroughs on a daily supply basis. This role offers immediate start dates and the flexibility to work as often as you wish, making it ideal for those seeking experience in early years education without a formal qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Support children aged 0‑5 years through play‑based learning activities.
• Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
• Promote social, emotional and communication development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
• Collaborate with permanent nursery staff to meet each child’s individual needs.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Positive, caring and flexible attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the early years sector.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
