About the role
Veritas Education is partnering with welcoming primary schools in Leeds to recruit enthusiastic unqualified teachers for September 2026. The positions are open to recent graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers and teaching assistants who want hands‑on classroom experience. You will work across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 delivering pre‑planned lessons and supporting pupils’ development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils' learning and development.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Encourage confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Confidence in leading groups and managing behaviour positively.
- Reliability, enthusiasm and adaptability.
- Genuine passion for education.
