About the role
This full‑time position supports a welcoming primary school in Chatham, delivering lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The role offers long‑term stability and the chance to progress to a permanent contract.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons across KS1 and KS2.
- Cover teachers during their planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.
- Maintain high expectations and monitor pupil progress.
- Contribute to a positive classroom environment and school culture.
Required profile
- Recent experience teaching whole classes in a UK primary school.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum.
- Ability to deliver pre‑planned lessons across multiple year groups.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Adaptable, organised and committed to high‑quality learning.
- Relevant school‑based experience (Qualified Teacher Status not essential).
