About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join secondary schools across Knowsley as Unqualified Teachers. This is a supply‑teaching position that can be taken on a daily, long‑term or full‑time basis from September, offering a practical entry point into the education sector.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise classes during teacher absence and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons prepared by qualified teaching staff.
- Manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged throughout the day.
- Support pupils across a range of curriculum subjects as required.
Required profile
- Recent graduate or professional with experience leading groups (e.g., sports coach, youth worker, performing‑arts professional).
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Motivation to gain classroom experience and progress towards teacher training.
