About the role
Veritas Education is offering unqualified teaching assistant positions in primary schools across Blackpool and surrounding areas. These roles provide paid, long‑term experience for individuals who want to start a career working with children and gain insight into school life.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
- Support pupils during lessons and supervised activities.
- Help maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
- Participate in school‑based training courses.
Required profile
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Willingness to attend a registration interview.
- Ability to provide a CV covering the last ten years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
- Consent to an enhanced DBS check, professional references and, if applicable, overseas police clearances.
