Urgent Care Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Locum in Cornwall

About the role

Vivid Healthcare is urgently recruiting experienced Urgent Care Practitioners (Band 6) and Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Band 8) for a locum position in a busy Minor Injuries Unit on the Cornwall coast. The role offers a full‑time block booking with immediate start dates and continuity throughout the summer months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
• Respond appropriately to emergency presentations as they arise.
• Work alongside another experienced practitioner within a well‑established Minor Injuries Unit.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to local protocols.

Required profile

• Current UK registration as a healthcare professional.
• Band 6: Minor Injuries & Minor Illness Management qualification/module, OR Band 8: Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification with urgent‑care experience.
• Recent experience in Minor Injuries, Urgent Treatment Centre or Emergency Care settings.
• Confidence in autonomous assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Right to work in the UK.
