US Property Underwriter – London

About the role

We are seeking a US Property Underwriter to join our London team, underwriting mid‑to‑large corporate property risks across North America. You will work alongside an experienced underwriting division, handling both primary and excess placements.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal property business for North American corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with London market brokers.
• Manage a portfolio of primary and excess placements, ensuring disciplined growth.
• Collaborate with senior underwriting leadership on portfolio development and business strategy.
• Provide technical underwriting analysis on complex property risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience underwriting property risks across North America.
• Ability to handle mid‑to‑large corporate property exposures.
• Strong analytical mindset and understanding of insurance underwriting principles.
