About the role

We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team in Newcastle. The role is contract‑based, hybrid (three days on‑site per week), and requires an active or eligible SC clearance.

Key responsibilities

Analyse target‑user needs and task flows to create optimized experiences.
Develop and refine UX strategies that align with project goals.
Identify user pain points and propose innovative design solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UX elements.
Lead and support the design team, making key decisions and sharing best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and quality standards.

Required profile

Advanced proficiency in UX design, UX research and UI design.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and manage team collaboration.
Active SC clearance or eligibility for SC clearance.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to influence multiple teams.
