User Researcher – Remote (SC Cleared)

About the role

This position is with an international management consulting firm delivering large‑scale digital transformation projects for public‑sector clients across the UK. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the country while supporting the digital practice’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research to inform the design of digital services for public‑sector programmes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and present research findings to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
• Participate in occasional client site visits, with travel costs covered by the employer.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience as a User Researcher.
• Demonstrated experience working to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
• Current Security Clearance at SC level.
• Residency in the UK for at least 5 years and no overseas trips longer than 28 days in the past 5 years.
