US/UK Tax Senior – Assistant Manager

About the role

Our client, a Big 4 accounting practice in Central London, is looking for a US/UK Tax Senior Associate/Assistant Manager to join a well‑established team. You will work with a portfolio of private clients, providing cross‑border tax advice and supporting their compliance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and first‑review US and UK tax returns for a portfolio of private clients.
• Deliver advice on a wide variety of US and UK tax matters.
• Manage and develop relationships within an assigned client portfolio.
• Liaise with HMRC and the IRS on client issues.
• Review work completed by junior colleagues, providing feedback and coaching.
• Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• ATT and/or CTA qualified – or actively studying.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) qualified.
• Experience managing a portfolio of US and UK tax clients (preferred, not essential).
• Familiarity with individuals in the financial services sector.
• Confident and clear communicator.
