Valuations Manager – Advisory & Project Leadership

About the role

Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking an ambitious Valuations Manager to join their London office. You will advise on valuation matters across multiple deal stages, supporting a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as project manager, maintaining day‑to‑day client contact, understanding needs, and drafting effective storyboards.
• Attend client meetings and lead/present sections of work with clarity and impact.
• Ensure quality of deliverables, linking findings to valuation models and explaining key drivers.
• Direct team management and coaching, setting clear objectives.
• Own the production of comprehensive written reports tailored to each client.
• Identify key issues, propose solutions, and collaborate with senior team members.
• Build and review financial and valuation models of varying complexity.

Required profile

• ACA or equivalent financial qualification.
• Valuation experience, preferably in a professional services commercial valuations environment.
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow and capitalised earnings.
• Strong quantitative abilities and advanced Excel/modelling skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver high‑quality presentations.
• Self‑starter with initiative, confidence, and influencing skills.
• Proven track record of building lasting stakeholder relationships.
• Robust project‑management capabilities.
