Valuations Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a Valuations Manager to join their London office. The role offers the chance to work on a variety of valuation assignments across deal stages for both domestic and international clients, covering transaction pricing, fund reporting, fairness opinions, expert witness services and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engagements as project manager, maintaining day‑to‑day client contact and translating client needs into effective storyboards.
• Present work in client meetings, delivering clear and impactful sections of the valuation analysis.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables, linking findings to valuation models and explaining key drivers in reports.
• Coach and manage the project team, setting objectives and monitoring progress.
• Produce comprehensive written reports tailored to each client’s requirements.
• Identify key issues, develop solutions and collaborate with senior team members as needed.
• Build and review financial and valuation models of varying complexity.

Required profile

• ACA or equivalent financial qualification.
• Professional valuation experience, preferably within a commercial valuations environment.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow and capitalised earnings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality presentations and analysis.
• Proven stakeholder management and project‑management capabilities.
