Valuations Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

The Valuations Team of a mid‑market professional services firm is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead valuation engagements across a range of client projects. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality valuations that support financial reporting, tax compliance, M&A and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple valuation engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality results.
• Develop project plans, set milestones and coordinate team activities to meet objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the engagement process.
• Conduct comprehensive valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, mergers and acquisitions and strategic planning.
• Analyse financial statements, market data, industry trends and economic conditions to support valuation conclusions.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports, presentations and other deliverables that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Provide strategic advice on valuation matters and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, offering guidance and feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified in a relevant accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA or ACCA preferred).
• Relevant experience in valuations, preferably within a professional services or advisory firm.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and support business development.
