Van Driver – Bicester (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Fresh Direct in Bicester as a Van Driver and become part of a leading UK food business backed by Sysco. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders while maintaining product temperatures in a multi‑temperature‑controlled vehicle on a 5‑over‑7 shift (Thursday to Monday, 45 hours per week).

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick and load customer orders into the van.
• Maintain required temperature zones for perishable goods during transit.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and DVSA compliance.
• Perform manual handling of food produce in line with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Follow company processes, routes and delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Qualified 3.5 t or 7.5 t driver licence.
• Strong knowledge of DVSA standards and vehicle compliance.
• Good road knowledge of the South East England area.
• Commitment to delivering high‑standard customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly within a shift system.

• Understanding of DVSA compliance procedures.
