About the role
Join Brakes, a leading UK food business and part of Sysco GB, as a Van Driver based in Aylesford. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders while maintaining product temperatures and ensuring road safety.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately pick and load orders into a multi-temperature-controlled van.
- Deliver food products to customer premises, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to meet DVSA compliance and roadworthiness standards.
- Handle food produce safely, following health, safety and hygiene regulations.
- Work within a shift system and follow company processes and procedures.
Required profile
- Valid 3.5‑tonne driving licence.
- Good knowledge of the local area and road networks.
- Commitment to high‑standard customer service.
- Ability to work flexibly in a shift pattern.
Required skills
- DVSA vehicle compliance awareness.
- Manual handling of food products.
