About the role

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a reliable Van Installation Driver to deliver and collect heating and cooling equipment for a well‑established client in the South East. This full‑time, temp‑to‑perm position offers hands‑on experience in the refrigeration engineering sector, ideal for someone who enjoys independent road work and physical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect heating and cooling units to customer sites across the South East region.
• Plan and manage daily routes independently, ensuring timely service.
• Load and unload equipment using a 3.5‑tonne tail‑lift van.
• Assist with basic installation tasks such as positioning units and setting up simple systems.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues to the client.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years.
• Own transport to reach the workplace.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Stable work history and willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Good time‑management and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Operation of a 3.5‑tonne tail‑lift vehicle.
