Van Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Van Technician to join our team in Ashford. The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of small and large vans, ensuring they remain road‑worthy and meet service standards. You will work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm in a permanent, full‑time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and repairs on vans.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.
• Use hand tools and specialist equipment to complete tasks.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required.
• Conduct diagnostic tests using computerized systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Van Technician or LGV Vehicle Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently within scheduled hours.
