Vehicle Technician – Automotive Workshop

About the role

Our client, a leading automotive dealer group, is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Winchester. The role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles while delivering high‑quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures and workshop processes.
• Complete accurate electronic job cards and technical reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good IT competence and confidence using digital systems.
• MOT Tester qualification is advantageous but not essential.
