Vehicle Technician – Bus Fleet Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our engineering team at depots across Lancashire and Yorkshire. You will play a key part in keeping our bus fleet safe, reliable and ready for the thousands of daily passenger journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults on buses.
• Carry out routine servicing and 28‑day inspections.
• Perform vehicle repairs and scheduled maintenance work.
• Support MOT preparation in line with DVSA Road Worthiness standards.
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship at all times.

Required profile

• Take pride in workmanship and enjoy problem‑solving.
• Hold an A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent City & Guilds) qualification.
• Possess a full driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Experience on buses or coaches is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to obtain a PCV licence if not already held.
