Vehicle Technician – Dunstable

About the role

A high‑performing main dealership in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician (Level 2/3 or time‑served) to join its busy workshop. The role offers strong earning potential, consistent work and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair vehicles, with a focus on gearbox and engine work.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Carry out vehicle health checks (VHCs).
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and related documentation.
• Support the workshop team in meeting productivity targets.

Required profile

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent time‑served experience.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT licence desirable but not essential.
• Own tools and toolbox.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
