Vehicle Technician – Full‑Time Role in Gloucester

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Vehicle Technician to join a modern workshop in Gloucester. You will work with the latest tools and technology, delivering high‑quality servicing, maintenance and repairs for a supportive after‑sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and resolve both routine and complex vehicle issues.
• Conduct road tests where required to support diagnosis and repair work.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and accurately.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer standards at all times.
• Maximise productivity while maintaining excellent quality.
• Participate in regular training and development activities.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 2‑3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop technical skills.

Required skills

• City & Guilds Level 2‑3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Vehicle diagnostic skills.
• Vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair techniques.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
