Vehicle Technician – Gloucester

About the role

Halfords is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join its Gloucester centre. You will carry out interim, full and major vehicle services and handle a range of repair and replacement tasks across the garage.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interim, full and major service inspections on light vehicles.
• Carry out tyre fitting, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work.
• Diagnose and repair air‑conditioning systems and other mechanical faults.
• Complete follow‑up repairs and component replacements as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.

Required profile

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points.
• Proven experience delivering vehicle services and related repairs.
• Ability to work five days a week, with the centre closed on Sundays.
