Vehicle Technician

About the role

We are expanding our workshop team at Listers Toyota Bristol and are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician. You will work Monday‑Friday (8 am‑5 pm) and rotate Saturdays (8:30 am‑1 pm) in a modern, well‑equipped facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Service suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air‑conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and maintain EV and hybrid models, including battery, drive motor and control‑system checks.
• Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
• Complete service paperwork to manufacturer standards and use video reporting tools such as CitNOW.
• Collaborate with workshop colleagues to share knowledge and maintain high customer‑satisfaction standards.

Required profile

• Experience in the automotive sector as a technician, mechanic, HGV mechanic, auto electrician, MOT tester or similar.
• Working towards or holding an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Ability to work on both conventional and electrified vehicles.
