Vehicle Technician

About the role

Vertu Skoda Derby is looking for a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our service team. You will work in a busy dealership environment, delivering high‑quality maintenance, servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and complex repairs on customer vehicles.
• Carry out MOT testing and related inspections where required.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure first‑time fixes wherever possible.
• Uphold health and safety standards and keep the workshop tidy.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant automotive qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of professional tools.
• MOT licence preferred but not essential.
