Vehicle Technician – Mercedes-Benz (Hatfield)

About the role

Join a busy Mercedes‑Benz dealership in Hatfield as a Vehicle Technician. You will work in a premium manufacturer environment, delivering servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to the highest standards while supporting customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
• Complete workshop documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment.
• Contribute to workshop efficiency and team performance targets.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle, Service or Diagnostic Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced workshop.
