Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester – Bracknell

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join an independent garage in Bracknell. The role offers a modern workshop environment, a balanced Monday‑to‑Friday schedule and opportunities for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts or chains.
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics to accurately identify issues.
• Carry out MOT testing for classes 4 and 7.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Keep detailed records of work carried out.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support ongoing professional development and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Enthusiasm for working on multiple vehicle makes and models.
