Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester – Full‑time

About the role

Halfords Garage Services is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join its new Fusion Centre in Bristol. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring vehicles are safe and road‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct MOT examinations in line with DVSA regulations.
• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics and complex repairs on light vehicles.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and communicate findings clearly to customers.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points.
