About the role
Join a busy, well‑established automotive dealership in Hedge End as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester. You will work in a modern workshop, receive ongoing manufacturer training and enjoy a strong work‑life balance with only 1 in 8 Saturdays.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles.
- Perform MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
- Accurately fill job cards and service documentation.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to maximise productivity.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in the automotive industry.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Valid MOT Tester licence.
- Full UK driving licence.
