Vehicle Technician – No Weekends

About the role
Vertu Peugeot & Hyundai Banbury is expanding its service team and is looking for a dedicated Vehicle Technician. This full‑time position works a 42‑hour week from Monday to Friday with no weekend duties, offering a stable routine and the chance to specialise in modern automotive technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high‑quality repairs and maintenance on a range of Peugeot and Hyundai vehicles.
- Diagnose faults accurately to achieve first‑time fixes.
- Complete scheduled service work and ad‑hoc repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
- Provide clear communication with customers about work performed and recommendations.
Required profile
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 automotive qualification.
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician in a fast‑fit, independent or branded garage/dealership.
- Own set of tools and a full UK driving licence.
