Vehicle Technician – £33k‑£35k base, £50k+ OTE

About the role

If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for strong earning potential, manufacturer training and a role within an established dealership, this could be worth a closer look. You'll join a busy workshop in Salisbury, offering a basic salary of £33,000–£35,000 depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn £50,000+ OTE.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks
• Identify additional work where appropriate
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and workshop systems
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
• Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation
• Work towards workshop productivity and efficiency targets
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
