Vehicle Technician Trainer (Light Vehicles)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Technician to transition into a training role, delivering technical vehicle maintenance education to the next generation of automotive professionals. The position is based in Milton Keynes and combines classroom, workshop and virtual teaching methods.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical training on light vehicle maintenance both in‑person and online.
• Develop and update course content, incorporating the latest automotive technologies and electric‑vehicle knowledge.
• Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment in the workshop and virtual classrooms.
• Collaborate with curriculum designers to enhance training programmes.

Required profile

• Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent, with a background in light vehicles.
• Desire to move away from hands‑on work and focus on instruction.
• Ability to travel to and work on‑site in Milton Keynes.
