Vehicle Valeter

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Valeter to join our Activate Accident Repair team in Tunbridge Wells. The role involves cleaning and preparing customer and courtesy vehicles to a high standard, while providing professional customer service. You will work 45 hours per week in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, clean and polish vehicles using approved materials and equipment.
• Clean upholstery, carpets and, when requested, steam‑clean engines and engine compartments.
• Prepare vehicles for customer collection, ensuring a first‑class presentation.
• Report any accidents or incidents to the Bodyshop Manager promptly.
• Communicate any damage, cleanliness issues or delays to reception and customers.
• Follow health and safety, housekeeping and chemical handling regulations.
• Complete required paperwork such as fuel and driver logs.

Required profile

• Full driving licence with appropriate classification.
• Experience in logistics or vehicle appraisal.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
