Vendor Manager – Remote/Hybrid, £70k

About the role

The Vendor Manager will act as the strategic link between the IS department and external technology partners, ensuring seamless delivery of digital services. This remote/hybrid position offers a competitive salary of around £70,000 per year and an attractive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain processes for managing technical vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance, generate clear insight reports and flag any SLA breaches.
• Resolve vendor‑related issues such as purchase orders, delivery delays and contract discrepancies.
• Support the IS team with vendor‑management training and best‑practice guidance.
• Review contracts regularly to secure best value and alignment with business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology‑focused vendor management.
• Strong analytical ability to simplify complex problems and present solutions.
• Comfortable interacting with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
• Team‑player mindset, results‑driven and resilient under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
