Venue Coordinator – London

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Venue Coordinator to join our award‑winning catering team at University College London. You will be the main point of contact for clients and organisers on event days, ensuring each event runs smoothly and reflects our brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality, consistent customer experience across all events.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients and organisers, managing relationships and resolving issues.
• Maintain a visible presence during live events and handle on‑the‑day changes professionally.
• Coordinate room setups with Estates, AV, Security, Cleaning and other support teams.
• Support delivery of high‑profile and complex events that enhance the venue’s reputation.
• Ensure event spaces are presented to brand standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Demonstrated flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Professional, proactive attitude and ability to work collaboratively across internal teams.
