Veterinary Surgeon (Fixed‑Term) – Pet Care Vets

About the role

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Pet Care Vets practice in Erith on a 3‑month fixed‑term basis. The role offers flexible working – either four 10‑hour days (40 hours) or three days per week for the right candidate – and provides a supportive, collaborative environment focused on high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied first‑opinion caseload including consultations, diagnostics, routine surgery and inpatient care.
• Provide continuity of care, building trusted relationships with clients and their pets.
• Deliver high‑quality clinical care in line with practice standards.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with the Clinical Director for ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Previous experience in small‑animal general practice.
• Confidence in handling routine consultations and surgeries.
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork and exceptional patient care.
• Desire to continue clinical development within a supportive practice.

What we offer
