Vice President – Corporate Credit Officer

About the role

Bank of America is seeking a Vice President to join its Corporates Credit team within Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB). The role focuses on managing and delivering credit relationships for medium and large corporate clients, aligning with the firm’s growth strategy, risk appetite and underwriting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse credit risk and underwrite debt financing solutions and derivative strategies for corporate clients.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, product specialists and risk teams to structure tailored financing packages.
• Ensure compliance with GCIB Credit underwriting standards and the bank’s risk appetite.
• Partner with GCIB and Global Markets teams to support mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raising, corporate lending, and sales‑trading activities.
• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities across the corporate and institutional client base.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate credit analysis and underwriting.
• Strong understanding of debt financing, derivative products and capital markets.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams including relationship managers, product specialists and risk.
• Senior‑level commercial acumen and familiarity with GCIB and Global Markets services.
