About the role

Our client, a global leader in digital assets and data centre infrastructure, is expanding its London trading technology team. As a Vice President Java Electronic Trading Engineer you will design and build next‑generation server‑side crypto trading systems, working at the intersection of finance and cutting‑edge technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance, low‑latency Java trading applications.
• Own and optimise critical components such as order management, market connectivity, messaging and price distribution.
• Profile and tune application performance to the microsecond in a Linux environment.
• Independently solve complex technical challenges and drive issues to resolution.

Required profile

• 10+ years of development experience in an electronic trading environment.
• Expert‑level Core Java skills with deep knowledge of concurrency and multithreading.
• Proven track record of building low‑latency pricing and trading systems on Linux.
• Strong background in performance profiling and optimisation.
