VP Communications - Technology Change & Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a senior communications leader to shape the narrative of a major technology transformation within a global digital engineering services function. Reporting directly to senior leadership, including the MD, you will build the communications and change management function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the department’s communications and change management strategy, advising senior leaders on messaging for board meetings, town halls and committees.
• Develop a structured, targeted communications and customer engagement plan with product owners, translating roadmaps into clear business impact.
• Act as the primary liaison between corporate communications, technology teams, senior business leaders and end‑users, ensuring consistent messaging across the organisation.
• Establish and govern communication standards, channels and branding, producing multi‑format content such as written, visual and video materials.
• Drive employee engagement and change adoption across key transformation initiatives, including end‑user computing and platform changes.
• Continuously engage stakeholders to identify pain points, feed insights back into the business and manage risk and escalation plans related to communication gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience building a communications or customer‑engagement function from scratch, preferably in financial services or a regulated, technology‑driven environment.
• Hands‑on, self‑starter mindset with the ability to own strategy and deliver independently without a large supporting team.
• Demonstrated credibility influencing executive, MD and board‑level audiences.
