VP Direct Lending – Single Name Lending (London)

About the role

Citi’s global Markets business is a leading financial institution offering a wide range of products and services. The Spread Products team in London is looking for a Vice President to join its Single Name Lending business, focusing on private credit transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, analyse, underwrite and monitor single‑name private credit transactions.
• Structure and draft term sheets for new deals.
• Manage transaction documentation and negotiate terms.
• Conduct financial analysis, due diligence and projection modelling.
• Collaborate with Private Markets Coverage, ICM, Banking and Risk partners.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead transactions and manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong corporate finance background with corporate credit analysis expertise.
• Deep understanding of fixed‑income products, including loans and bonds.
• Exposure to infrastructure debt is preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
