Vulnerability Management Lead – Microsoft Defender TVM

About the role

We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Lead to own and evolve the Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management (TVM) capability for a leading financial services organisation. This six‑month hybrid contract will involve shaping strategy, building executive reporting, and driving data‑driven improvements across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the organisation's Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management capability.
• Review, enhance and document the vulnerability management strategy, framework and operating model.
• Create executive‑level dashboards and reports for senior leadership and risk committees.
• Analyse vulnerability data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive process, governance and reporting enhancements using Microsoft Defender insights.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure and engineering teams to raise the overall security posture.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure vulnerability performance and risk reduction.
• Support the ongoing evolution and adoption of Microsoft Defender TVM across the business.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management (TVM).
• Proven ability to produce executive‑level reporting and present vulnerability data to senior stakeholders.
• Background in developing or improving vulnerability management strategies, frameworks or operating models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in a regulated environment is advantageous.
