Waiter – Rooftop Restaurant at The Conduit

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter to join the team at Nettle, a rooftop restaurant located in The Conduit, Covent Garden. You will be the face of the venue, delivering memorable service to members and guests across a dynamic, seasonal menu.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and engage members and guests with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, including allergen awareness.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on menu knowledge and guest preferences.
• Deliver efficient table service, monitor guest experience, and respond proactively to needs.
• Handle payments and present bills accurately.
• Work across various areas of the restaurant, including section service, hosting, drinks, and coffee stations.
• Support opening and closing duties, including polishing, setting, and preparing the restaurant for service.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the restaurant manager, assistant manager, floor manager, and general manager.
• Flexibility to work across different service areas and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
