Waiter/Waitress – Bar & Grill

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join the team at the Barbican Bar & Grill. Working in a world‑class arts venue, you will support floor managers in delivering seamless food and beverage service to a diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Run assigned sections, taking orders and processing payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promptly resolve any issues.
• Set up tables and equipment, ensuring standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen, reception and other staff to maintain service consistency.
• Adhere to food safety, health and safety, COSHH and other regulatory requirements.
• Follow company policies, procedures and training guidelines.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Passion for food and beverage service.
