Waiter/Waitress – Luxury F&B Service Role

About the role

Join The Hansom’s Food & Beverage team as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering five‑star luxury service to guests in a vibrant London setting. You will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every dining experience feels memorable and seamless.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptionally high standards of luxury service throughout the F&B operation.
• Keep all work areas clean and uphold best‑practice hygiene standards.
• Learn and promote new menu and beverage items, taking copies off‑shift for study.
• Stay up‑to‑date with company Food Safety Programs and relevant regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to management or maintenance staff.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings and one‑to‑ones to stay informed.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the F&B Management team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively at all levels.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Understanding of overall hotel operations and how the role contributes to the guest experience.
• L2 Food Hygiene certification preferred; willingness to obtain it if not already held.

Required skills

• Food Hygiene Level 2 (or commitment to achieve it).
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and company food safety programs.
