Waiting List & Pathway Coordinator – Gynaecology

About the role

The Waiting List Coordinator / 18‑Week Pathway Coordinator will support the Gynaecology department by managing patient waiting lists and validating clinical pathways. Working closely with consultants, theatre staff and patient access services, you will ensure timely scheduling of diagnostics and procedures while maintaining high standards of administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and update the Gynaecology waiting list.
• Liaise with patients, clinicians and scheduling teams to book diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Validate patient pathways against Trust standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to Trust policies, procedures and PRIDE values.
