Warehouse Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Warehouse Administrator to join our busy pharmaceutical wholesaling business in Hitchin. The role is primarily office‑based, supporting order processing, stock administration and logistics coordination while also providing hands‑on assistance to the warehouse team when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately using Excel and internal systems.
• Maintain and update stock records, purchase orders and sales orders.
• Produce reports and assist with inventory tracking.
• Coordinate deliveries, liaise with couriers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Support receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
• Communicate order and delivery updates to customers and resolve queries promptly.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
• Full UK driving licence preferred; forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to be flexible and support various business areas.
