Warehouse Assistant + Driver

About the role

Join a growing professional audio‑visual company as a Warehouse Assistant and Driver. You will support the end‑to‑end logistics process, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders from digital or printed picking lists.
• Pack products securely using appropriate materials and label shipments correctly.
• Stage orders for courier collection and load vehicles.
• Unload deliveries, inspect for damage and record discrepancies.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and enter stock into the WMS.
• Store products safely, conduct stock counts and apply FIFO where required.
• Drive company vehicles for local deliveries and site transfers, completing daily safety checks.
• Operate forklifts and pallet trucks (where certified) and maintain warehouse housekeeping.
• Follow Health & Safety, manual handling and COSHH procedures.
• Respond to internal and external enquiries about stock and deliveries.

Required profile

• Reliable and organised with a proactive attitude.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT confidence, especially with warehouse management systems.
