Warehouse Cleaner – Part‑time (Wednesday)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment within our Southall distribution centre. This is a part‑time position that requires you to work a single shift every Wednesday, providing approximately 6‑8 hours of cleaning duties each week and receiving weekly payment at £13 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum all warehouse floor areas to remove dust, debris and spills.
• Clean office spaces, desks, keyboards and other work surfaces to a professional standard.
• Dust shelving, racking systems, storage bins and any accessible fixtures throughout the warehouse.
• Sanitise toilets, washrooms and kitchen facilities, including sinks, countertops and appliances.
• Empty all waste bins, replace liners and dispose of litter, packaging material and light debris safely.
• Wipe down high‑touch points such as door handles, light switches, handrails and equipment controls.
• Re‑stock consumables such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet roll and other hygiene supplies.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards or damage to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are used correctly, stored safely and maintained according to health‑and‑safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality and a strong attendance record.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and achieve a high standard of cleanliness.
• Attention to detail and physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
