Warehouse Clerk – Chill/Freezer Operations

About the role

Join Booker’s fast‑moving consumer goods distribution centre in Hatfield as a Warehouse Clerk working in the chill and freezer area. You will provide essential clerical support to keep the chill operation running smoothly and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day administrative records for the chill operation, including stock movements and order documentation.
• Process incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring all paperwork is complete and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with warehouse operatives, drivers, and supply‑chain teams to confirm order fulfilment.
• Monitor inventory levels in the chill/freezer zone and report discrepancies.
• Support health‑and‑safety compliance by following cold‑store procedures.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated and reliable, able to follow instructions precisely.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment and under time pressure.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff at all levels.
