Warehouse Distribution Operative

About the role

Personnel Selection is recruiting a reliable Warehouse Distribution Operative for a busy warehouse in Bognor Regis. The role involves handling the movement of goods, from receiving and storing to picking, packing and dispatch, within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pack goods to required standards.
• Use voice‑controlled picking systems to fulfil orders.
• Receive inbound deliveries, unload vehicles and check paperwork.
• Store items in correct locations and conduct regular stock checks.
• Prepare outbound shipments, label and load vehicles safely.
• Update warehouse systems and complete required paperwork promptly.
• Operate handling equipment and wear required PPE.
• Support health and safety procedures throughout the warehouse.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
• Strong attention to detail when handling paperwork and stock.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a focus on safety and quality.

Required skills

• Voice‑controlled picking system operation
• Warehouse management system usage
• Handling equipment operation (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts)
